No problem! We have buckets of activities for you to choose from. Whether you prefer exploring the coastline, stand-up paddleboarding, yoga sessions, or simply relaxing on the beach, there’s something for everyone at Banana Surf House. Optional Dinners: Enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals prepared by our in-house chef every evening on our stunning sunset terrace.New Slushy Machine: The newest addition to our hostel bar! Enjoy refreshing, ice-cold daiquiris and margaritas after a long day in the waves. Don’t miss our two-for-one happy hour before dinner, the perfect way to unwind and socialize. The Location
The house is situated 30 seconds from Praia Dona Ana. Lagos’ very own Blue Flag beach, in every direction we have beach or town, or more beach… Minutes away in one direction can be found Praia do Camilo or Ponte da Piedade and in the other direction can be found Lagos Old Town.
Once inside the hostel be sure to check out the common room that hosts pretty much everything a hostel common room should host. Normally this is where you will find Bowie, our very own hostel pup. Super cute but also runs the free walking tours.
Grab a beer from reception and make your way to our roof terrace to meet other travellers at our home cooked family dinner nights.

Enjoy our super comfy common room for guests to hang out and meet! We have Netflix, Ps4, Xbox, Book exchange, Cards, Jenga, guitars, Ukeleles and plenty of space to be alone should you feel like it. Our Super Large Dining table that can fit heaps of people for family dinner or games night.
Our Rooms
We have a 8 Bedroom dorm and Now that is a beautiful Eight Bed Dormitory. We understand at Banana Beach that sometimes backpacking can mean giving up comfort. Not here!
Our Custom built bunks have everything inside them to make your little bunk a bit more like home. USB charging point, Night light, Black out curtains and real super comfy mattresses.
There is also a Spacious four bed clean female dormitory with private bathroom, also newly available we also have private rooms and Twin rooms for backpackers who want a bit more privacy when they are sleeping but still want all the perks of staying in hostel accommodation. Twins are En-suite.
